The role involves providing engineering support to production teams, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure plant and equipment are operating safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.These opportunities would suit:Contract Engineers looking for extra work on their days offContract Engineers wanting additional income to top up their pensionContract Engineers seeking their next long-term contract opportunityThe Role:Multi-skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased)Reactive and proactive maintenance across plant, equipment and auxiliary systemsSupport production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiencyEnsure planned engineering tasks are completed on time and in fullMaintain high standards of repair and manufacturing practiceComplete planned maintenance documentation and CMMS recordsContribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement initiativesRequirements: Qualified Maintenance Engineer (C&G, NVQ Level 3, ideally ONC/HNC)Apprentice trainedMulti-skilled with mechanical and electrical experienceFood or FMCG manufacturing experience essentialProactive approach to fault finding and supporting productionWorking Patterns 3 on / 3 off – 9:00am to 9:00pm xwzovoh Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 6:00pm (early finish on Fridays)Ad-hoc 12hr day shifts and night shiftsPay Rates:PAYE direct with Wagstaff Recruitment – £27.50 to £30.00 per hourPAYE through our accredited payroll partner – £35.00 to £40.00 per hourShifts Inside IR35For more information, please apply or contact a member of the Wagstaff Team:Jamie Vedel Natalie Taylor Email:“Wagstaff Recruitment – Building Trusted Relationships to Create Great Opportunities”…
