Recycling Operative – Full-time

JOB VACANCY RECYCLING OPERATIVE Full time / Permanent / Ref: RO/05/26 Location: 9-10b Building 4 Central Park, Mallusk Shifts: Day shift, 7am-4pm (40hrs/week) Monday to Friday (inc. Saturdays, when required) We are looking to appoint a Recycling Operative for the day shift in our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), at our RiverRidge site in Mallusk. Responsibility for picking and segregating both recyclable and non-recyclable materials within a busy MRF. Ensure quality and recovery rates are maximised Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations, & Health & Safety. Ensure daily housekeeping rules are adhered to at all times. Adhere to the principles of Manual Handling at all times. Using software to support more efficient methods of quality control /analysis of our waste streams/waste process Any other duties as deemed reasonable by Supervisors /Management Essential Criteria Good organisational skills Good communication skills – both written and verbal Ability to work well on own initiative Be self-motivated Ability to work well with others Flexible approach to work hours Desirable Criteria Previous experience within a Waste Industry Manual Handling Training Certificate Banksman Training Certificate and experience of performing Banksman What We Offer!
