Most Common: Care Assistant — South Essex
£12.71–£14.50 /hour.
- Visiting older adults in their own homes across South Essex and surrounding areas.
- Providing personal care, medication management, and companionship.
- Full training provided; no prior care experience needed.
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation.
- Private bedroom and meal allowance.
- Single client at a time; strong 1-on-1 carer relationship.
- No live-in experience needed.
- Lead a small South Essex team, manage care plans, support new starters.
- Minimum 2 years care experience.
- NVQ Level 3 preferred or willing to work towards it within 6 months.
- Work within local neighbourhoods to minimise travel time and maximise relationships.
- Coverage areas: Basildon, Southend, Canvey Island, Brentwood, Wickford, Billericay, Pitsea.
- Hospital discharge work mostly from Basildon University Hospital and Southend University Hospital.
