Job Role: Children’s Support Worker

Location: Wellington, Telford (TF1)

Salary: £13.45 – £14.05 per hour + up to £6000 sleep-in allowance.

Hours: 39 per week, completed as shifts, including long days & sleep-ins.

Requirements: Full UK Driving License – essential.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children and young people with their emotional, physical, and social needs
  • Accompanying them to appointments, school, and fun activities
  • Delivering personal care and helping with daily routines
  • Supporting with household tasks and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
  • Completing accurate, clear documentation and reports
  • Always promoting their wellbeing and safeguarding them

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License (essential)
  • Age over 21 (required due to the vulnerable nature of the people we support)
  • Experience working with children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Motivated, determined and resilient staff who are flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations
