A Sterile Services Technician will work at our Plymouth-based hospital to support the Sterile Services Department Lead and Theatre Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant, and effective decontamination and sterile supply service.

What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities include cleaning, checking, packing, assembling, sterilising, and distributing medical devices; ensuring each device meets required standards before patient use; maintaining compliance with health and safety guidelines, PPE usage, and COSHH legislation; and supporting the Decontamination Manager as required.
What We’ll Look For in You
- Ability to competently prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Capability to lead and support technicians, ensuring all areas of the department are covered on shift
- Confidence in clear communication with other departments when necessary
- Proficient in highlighting and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner
- Overall support for the Decontamination Manager as needed
Position: PermanentLocation: PlymouthWorking Monday to Friday with one Saturday shift in every three weeksHours: Early shift 07:30‑15:30 or Late shift 11:00‑19:00
