Location: Balderton Primary Care Centre, Nottingham
Salary: Up to £54,200.00 depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week
Job Overview
The role of the Prescribing Pharmacist is integral to delivering high‑quality primary care at Balderton Primary Care Centre. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective medication management, support patients remotely, and contribute to innovative care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe medication and conduct online and telephone clinical triage.
- Manage minor illnesses and offer long‑term condition advice.
- Deliver safe clinical decisions, working closely with other team members to improve patient and staff satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for service innovation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Minimum 2‑year qualified pharmacy experience in a primary care setting.
- Independent prescribing qualification.
- Effective clinical judgement in prioritisation and decision‑making.

Other Requirements
