Overview

School Nurse (RGN) – Portsmouth, Hants

Permanent, part-time.

Salary range aligning with NHS Agenda for Change (England) RGN Band 6+ pay band (FTE) per annum, depending upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle confidential information appropriately, communicate effectively, and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Ensure systems in the Health and Wellbeing Centre are working effectively and maintain compliance.
• Deliver training to staff and disseminate information with clarity and accuracy.
• Participate in INSET (Professional Development Days) and follow the term-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00‑14:00 or 12:00‑17:00, with a job share to provide an overlap of two nurses between 12:00‑14:00.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Well-qualified and experienced as a School Nurse.
