Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate and reliable carers with at least 6 months’ experience to support our complex care clients in their own homes. This is not a home to home role; you will be based at one client’s residence. The clients have complex needs and will benefit from a carer who is attentive, proactive and up for a challenge.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24‑hour care and support to complex care clients in their own homes.
- Maintain continuity of care by working a single shift per client without traveling between homes.
- Ensure the client’s safety, wellbeing and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience caring for complex needs clients.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week.
- Availability for 9‑hour night shifts and weekends.

£12.71–£16 per hour.

- Client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, benefiting from continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
- Specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes; the average shift lasts 12 hours.
- Work schedules are flexible to meet availability. Typically a carer works three shifts (36 hours) per week, earning around £500–555 per week.
- Average annual income ranges from £26,200 to £28,950, based on shift pattern and including holiday pay.
- All staff are employed directly via PAYE, protecting against IR35 tax regulations.
- Rates shown include holiday pay, accumulated per hour worked.
