We are currently seeking experienced Oral & Maxillofacial nurse to support weekend insourcing clinics in Southampton, helping deliver NHS waiting list initiatives across:

• Patient care pathways
• Cancer pathways
• Anaesthetic procedures, biopsies, and minor plastic or facial surgeries

This is an excellent opportunity to join experienced teams delivering high-quality patient care throughout all stages of the perioperative pathway.

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Be currently working within an NHS trust in an Oral & Maxillofacial service – In outpatients
• Have recent, hands‑on experience supporting patients within: Biopsies
• Have been actively undertaking this work for at least 6 months within the past 12 months
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• Active registration as a Registered Nurse (NMC) or Dental Nurse (GDC)
• Recent post‑registration experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery or on surgical wards

Responsibilities include supporting with:

• Preparing patients for clinics, providing support to anxious patients
• Delivering sensitive pre‑ and post‑operative education (such as oral hygiene and cancer care); Clinic and treatment room preparation
• Assisting clinicians to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery
