Maths & English Tutor

Are you passionate about helping students excel in Maths and English? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide high-quality tuition to students of various ages and abilities.

About the Role

• Provide engaging one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English.
• Support students in building confidence, improving skills, and achieving their academic goals.
• Tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Track progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

Contract / Position Details

• Location – Cambridge
• Position – one-to-one tutor
• Type of work – Contract
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – dependent on each student
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time / Part time – Part time and full time depending on availability
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate 25 per hour
• Hours – Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
