As a Mental Health Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their recovery journey, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to patients.
• Support individuals with daily living activities and therapeutic programmes.
• Observe, monitor, and accurately report patient behaviour and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and positive environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in managing challenging behaviours using de‑escalation techniques and approved interventions.
• Promote recovery‑focused care and encourage patient independence.
• Ensure all safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures are followed.
