Care Assistant – Care Home

Overview

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by providing quality care and support. You’ll assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share moments with residents. The role is varied and rewarding, from following care plans to ensuring one-to-one time with residents. This is an opportunity to use your skills and develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily living activities and support with meals, following individual care plans
• Provide companionship and engage residents to enhance wellbeing
• Ensure residents have one-to-one time and personalised attention
• Contribute to a caring, supportive environment and uphold high standards of care

About You (Qualifications)

• Experience of caring for older people
• Can-do approach and excellent communication skills
• Empathy, warmth and compassion to deliver high standards of care
• Willingness to undertake training and development provided
