Were looking for a hands-on, high-energy Bar Manager to oversee the bar operation, lead the team and help deliver one of Brightons most exciting hospitality experiences.
The RoleAs Bars Manager, youll oversee the day-to-day running of multiple bar operations across the venue, leading the team through busy services while ensuring exceptional drinks, service and guest experience at all times.Youll be responsible for:Overseeing daily bar operations and confidently running busy shiftsLeading, developing and motivating the bar teamEnsuring cocktail quality, spec knowledge and service standards are consistently highSupporting stock control, ordering and labour managementDriving sales, profitability and guest experienceCreating a positive, energetic and high-performing team cultureSupporting events, seasonal trading peaks and high-volume servicesMaintaining licensing, compliance and health & safety standardsActing as a role model for bartenders, bar backs and floor teams
About YouYoull already have experience working in busy, high-volume bars and be confident leading teams in fast-paced environments.You might currently be a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or Senior Bartender ready to step into a bigger, more dynamic venue.
Youll bring:Experience in a senior bar or leadership roleStrong cocktail and drinks knowledgeConfidence managing busy services and high-volume tradeExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting rotas, labour control and stock managementKnowledge of licensing, risk assessments and health & safetyA hands-on leadership style with great floor presenceEnergy, personality and the ability to stay calm under pressure
