Role Overview
Radiopharmacy Technologist – St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Health Trust. Responsible for aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceuticals, batch manufacture, clinical trials, quality control, and maintaining the supply chain to customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals aseptically and label blood cell radioisotopes.
- Manufacture batches for diagnostic imaging, clinical trials and quality control.
- Maintain GMP compliance and other relevant regulations.
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with scientists, pharmacy technicians, imaging technologists, physicists and clinicians.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain the supply chain to customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced technician or scientist with background in radiopharmaceutical or aseptic production.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and related regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
