About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Mental Health Support Workers to join Balfor Health and Social Care in Tewkesbury. You will support adults with a range of needs, including:

• Autism & ADHD
• Learning Disabilities
• Mental Health Conditions
• Brain Injury
• Non-Verbal Individuals
• Challenging Behaviour
• Wheelchair Users

Your role will help individuals live independently, build confidence, and enjoy everyday life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group support in supported living or residential settings
• Assist with personal care, medication, and daily routines
• Promote independence and life skills
• Encourage participation in social and community activities
• Build positive, respectful, and supportive relationships
• Deliver person-centred care tailored to each individual

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in care, mental health, learning disabilities, or supporting complex needs
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• MAPA/PMVA training or willingness to train
• Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
