Learning Support Assistant

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Work type: Full‑Time Temp‑Perm

Salary: £100–£120 per day

Start date: September 2026

The Role

• Work both 1:1 and small groups.
• Support children with Learning & Behaviour Difficulties and Autism.
• Deliver a variety of activities and lessons alongside the class teacher.
• Report back to class teacher on students’ progress.
• Temp‑Perm role.

The Person

• Experience working with Special Education Needs.
• A transferable background such as care, social work, psychology graduate.
• Keen to learn and passionate about working with children with learning difficulties.
• Caring and supportive by nature.
• Able to build rapport with pupils and staff.
• A child & adult DBS currently on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
