About the Position
Grandir UK is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SENCO Co-ordinator at its Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Chelmsford, Essex. The role supports and inspires children with special educational needs, improving their learning experience and development.
Salary: £12.71 – £13.60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews. Flexible working and genuine career progression are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
- Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
- Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
- Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
- Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
Qualifications & Requirements
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
