A welcoming and supportive primary school in Stockport is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in EYFS who has complex SEND requirements. This is a long‑term opportunity running until the end of the school year, ideal for an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Have previous 1:1 SEND experience within a school‑based setting
• Be empathetic, patient, and resilient
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Support the child’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to provide tailored support

The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency, encouragement, and a nurturing approach to learning.
