- The appointed candidate would be expected to work flexibly; this may include off-site working and a hybrid model of home and onsite working.
The department is located in the New Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. A comprehensive service is provided to QEHB and surrounding hospitals. Techniques currently untaken include routine Evoked potentials, NCS/EMG, specialist EMG techniques including single fibre EMG, EMG guided Botulinum therapy including spastic dysphonia, pre-operative dystonia assessment, EEG, ambulatory EEG, video telemetry including invasive intra-cranial recording, MSLT, intra-operative corticography, spinal cord monitoring and epilepsy multi-disciplinary assessment.
The department is involved in various research activities with other specialities.
The successful candidate will be required to support delivery of quality improvement.
