Location: Lister Hospital

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Hourly Rate: £16-18 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts: 8:30am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:00pm, 11:00am–7:00pm, with occasional Saturdays approximately once per month)

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Lister Hospital in Chelsea. This role offers a great opportunity to support both dispensary and ward-based services within a busy hospital environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work across a variety of shift patterns and may support ward-based duties if they have the relevant experience. Hospital experience is preferred, though candidates from community or outpatient backgrounds will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support dispensary operations including dispensing and labelling of medicines.
  • Assist with ward-based pharmacy services where applicable.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and wider healthcare teams.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to SOPs.
  • Contribute to safe, efficient, and patient‑centred pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in dispensary and/or ward-based roles desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
