Employment details

ASAP start, full‑time, long‑term position. Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑3:45 pm. Pay £90‑£110 per day.

Work setting

Specialist school for children aged 5 to 16 with autism and learning disabilities. Therapeutic approach with activities outside of traditional lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Support children with complex autism and learning disabilities in the classroom.
• Work alongside on‑site therapists and psychologists, being mentored and shadowing sessions.
• Gain experience with special needs and mental health issues.

Desired background

• Experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Background in education, occupational or clinical psychology, therapeutic support or SEN teaching considered.
