Residential Nursing Home Care Assistant Nights

Salary: £13.62ph plus incentives

Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7pm to 7am, 3-4 shifts per week to include alternate weekends)

About St Andrew’s

St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, selectively extended to retain its character, providing homeliness and modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities

• Join a team of dedicated Care Assistants to deliver the highest level of care in supporting residents with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and daily activities such as washing, dressing, and eating.
• Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect, alongside their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring 90% and above is achieved during Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
• Maintain 100% current status with all mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements

• Clear motivation and/or relevant experience.
• Residing within 20 minutes of the care home.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Caring and nurturing attitude.
• Positive and enthusiastic mindset.
• Time management and organisational skills.
