- Locations: Based in various locations throughout Lanarkshire.
- Wage: Band 2 (£26,696 – £28,988)
- Duration: Fixed-term positions for 12 months starting from 18th of August 2026. Part‑time hours available with pro‑rata salary.
- Eligibility: Applicants aged between 16 to 24 years old on 1st of August 2026 (or up to 29 years for applicants with a disability or those with care experience). Must demonstrate proficiency at SCQF level 5 / National 5 level.
What We Offer

Duties as a Healthcare Assistant in the community
- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Clinical Support: Performing basic clinical tasks like taking temperatures or blood pressures under supervision.
- Community Care: Visiting patients at home, assisting with meals, and monitoring conditions.
- Documentation: Reporting patient conditions to registered staff.
- Safety & Hygiene: Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
No Prior Experience Necessary
This Apprenticeship welcomes applicants with limited work experience, including school leavers.
