We’re seeking compassionate and resilient individuals to join the JRHT Care Assistant team at New Lodge. There is residential and domiciliary accommodation available at New Lodge, a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over. Along with assisting residents and helping with day‑to‑day tasks, you will get to know the people you support and become a familiar face to them and their relatives.

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work – sponsorship is not available for these roles, you must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • DBS – these roles will be subject to a successful DBS check that covers regulated activity
  • Care experience – at least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting

Shift schedule: Shifts at New Lodge are 7.5 hours (including an unpaid 30‑minute break). Early shifts start at 7:00 am and late shifts at 1:00 pm (residential care). Part‑time roles are 4 shifts a week (28 hours in total).
