About the Role
We are recruiting for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist for Echocardiography who will share our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated to join our team. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Qualifications
- Completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent).
- Hold full BSE accreditation in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography.
- Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Responsibilities
- Be a competent practitioner in echocardiography procedures.
- Have an advanced knowledge of products and procedures.
- Perform routine and complex diagnostic echocardiography procedures autonomously.
- Supervise and train other cardiac physiologists.
- Participate on a roster basis as required.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of services within echocardiography.
- Develop further highly technical specialist and advanced practical skills in the complex echo service.
- Participate in the day‑to‑day running of the department, ensuring the smooth running of a quality service.
