Eccles Fold is a welcoming Day Centre situated in Chapel‑en‑Le‑Frith. We provide compassionate care and support to older people, along with carer respite and social interaction within a vibrant community.

The Role

We’re looking for caring and dedicated Relief Care Workers to support clients with social interaction, promote independence and ensure their well‑being in a safe and friendly environment. The centre operates seven days a week and successful candidates will work five days out of seven, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Support clients to participate in social activities and maintain their independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely care records.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Work as part of a valued care team ensuring clients remain happy, healthy and well.
• Understand the needs of older people, including those with dementia.

About You

• Experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
• A kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting older people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to promoting independence and dignity in care.
