You will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while maintaining high standards of person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and repositioning
Conduct regular night checks to ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing
Support residents with mobility and continence needs
Accurately complete care records and night reports
Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
Maintain a calm, quiet, and reassuring environment
Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety policies
Requirements
Previous care experience preferred
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
Medication training (desirable)
Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
Ability to work independently during night hours
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
