Overview
30 hours per week. £21,689 per annum based on 30 hours per week. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be committed to supporting people in a positive, creative way that enables people to live a fulfilled life. You will support the Service Manager in leading a team who work hard to encourage the people we support to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate best practice and be a role model for the team.
- Lead and support staff to enable people to live as independently as possible and to participate in their local community.
- Receive ongoing support to ensure your continued professional development and obtain a Diploma Level 3 in Adult Care (RQF).
- Deputise for the Service Manager where required.
- Work patterns will include some evening and weekend work; sleep-in shifts may be discussed at interview with opportunities to develop skills and career.
Qualifications
- Diploma Level 3 in Adult Care (RQF) or equivalent as part of ongoing professional development.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure (cost covered by Autism Initiatives) prior to appointment.
