Senior Support Worker

Senior Support Worker – Marsden Green £13.72 per hour

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to lead our supported living service in Marsden Green. This role involves helping people gain independence in their daily lives while assisting the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and management of the service, including shift allocation, training bookings, induction of new colleagues, supervision support, medication ordering and financial management assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to gain independence in daily life activities.
• Support the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, provide supervision support.
• Order medication and ensure people manage finances.
• Ensure continuity of care and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism and trauma survivors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
