Welder Fabricator

We’re looking for a Skilled Welder Fabricator to join an established engineering manufacturer. Most work will be MIG with some TIG on mild and stainless steel. The role is day shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, in a modern, clean facility with a small, friendly team. The position offers a competitive wage of £18.00–£20.00 per hour depending on experience and the opportunity to grow within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedules are met.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding, with light or minimal experience acceptable for those with a fabricator background.
• Design and create welding fixtures to improve efficiency.
• Validate own and others’ work to ensure compliance with required specifications.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment.
• Support other workshop areas during quieter periods.

Qualifications and Experience

• Skilled Welder Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker comfortable across diverse projects.
• MIG and TIG experience is an advantage.
• Experience with wider sheet metal machinery is useful but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
