Plater / Welder

Welders / Platers – Mansfield (on-site)

£16-18 per hour, Mon–Fri

Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit Welders and Platers to support fabrication and welding activities across a range of projects within the Mansfield site. You’ll work to high engineering and safety standards, helping deliver quality components on time and to customer specifications.

Welders

• Review engineering drawings and perform welding/plating tasks
• Ensure tolerances, parameters, and production timings are met or exceeded
• Produce and mark up component parts; fabricate jigs for production runs
• Collaborate within a team to achieve quality and schedule targets
• MIG with previous coding
• BS EN 1090-1, 3834-2, and 15085-2 standards

Platers

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld components to drawing and schedule
• Use jigs for assembly and ensure compliance with documentation
• Maintain safe working practices and high housekeeping standards
• Deliver quality parts on time with a proactive, team‑oriented mindset
• MIG and TIG
• BS EN 1090-1, 3834-2, and 15085-2 standards
