Role Purpose

To repair and maintain all equipment associated with specialist vegetable machinery (but not limited to) that is sold by the company’s sales departments.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within the agricultural industry would be advantageous
  • Ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable or warrantable
  • Service, maintain and diagnose faults on in‑field agricultural machinery and crop production equipment, including products from manufacturers such as Ecorobotix, Tumoba, Verhoest and Samon, among others
  • Installation, commissioning and modification of new and existing in‑field equipment, including fabrication and repairs where required
  • Complete job cards in full relating to work undertaken, including machine details, time, mileage and any accompanying documentation
  • Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers as required
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety practices and procedures at all times
  • Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to work
  • Good general appearance
  • Competent in the use of computers and digital service tools
  • Excellent customer service skills, as this is a customer‑facing role
  • Full valid driving licence with no more than 3 points

Additional Information

  • Start date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidate’s notice period
  • Hours: 39 hours per week – 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Thursday; 8 am to 4 pm Friday (1 hr unpaid lunch). Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: competitive, depending on experience plus company van and company mobile phone
