Draughtsperson (HVAC / Building Services)
Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP45,000 per annum + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday.

Are you a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar from a Building Services, HVAC or MEP background looking to join a forward‑thinking business that can offer you autonomy and progression opportunities into Engineering?
In this role you’ll be creating 2D drawings for the building services industry. This will include ductwork layouts, FCUs, grilles, heat recovery, dampers and ventilation systems, based on 2D mechanical layouts and working alongside the Pre‑Construction and Mechanical teams who provide design direction.
This company is a Manchester‑based construction and fit‑out contractor delivering refurbishment, maintenance, and full build solutions across commercial, industrial, retail, and public‑sector projects, supported by in‑house project management and multi‑trade teams.
The role is suitable for a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar with a Building Services, MEP or HVAC background, seeking autonomy and future progression routes to expand your skill set.
The Role
- Creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Working under the direction of the Pre‑Construction and Mechanical Directors.
- Monday–Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, 40 hours per week.
The Person
- Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar.
- HVAC, M&E or Building Services background.
