CNC Turner Machinist

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for: a CNC Turner Machinist for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process).

Salary is £37,518.00 per annum – inclusive of shift allowance.

Working days and nights shift pattern: working hours are Days – Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm & 7:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays; Night shift is Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.

Requirements

• 2 years machining experience with the oil and gas industry.
• Experience of operating – CNC Lathes.
• Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
