Mobile Plant Fitter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Mechanic/Plant Fitter to join a very busy construction firm. The role will suit applicants based in and around Exeter or the North Devon area and the role will come with a new van, fuel card, door to door and excellent benefits.

This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who is looking to have a varied day‑to‑day job and the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of construction equipment, ensuring that the fleet remains in optimal working condition.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of Plant items such as hydraulic excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and dozers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements and guidelines and conduct safety inspections on equipment and report any hazards or concerns.
• Carrying out any mechanical repairs and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
