The Fabrication department within Manthorpe Engineering are recruiting for time served Platers in a full time vacancy. Our Fabrications Team produce bespoke fabrications for the nuclear, sub-sea, aero, MOD, and process industries in a wide range of materials and thicknesses in our purpose built fabrication shop. The Role and Requirements;

• The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
• The role will entail marking out and cutting material, producing weld preps where required, drilling and tack welding into complete assemblies.
• The basic hours are 0730-1630 Monday to Thursday and 0730 to 1230 on a Friday.
• The candidate shall be willing to work overtime as and when required (all overtime paid at 1.5x)
• The candidate may occasionally be required to work on a customer site.
• The vacancy is a permanent position.
• Agency workers will not be considered.
