Assembly Operative Woodworking And General Labour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative (Woodworking & General Labour) to join a busy workshop environment.

Location: Blackburn

Shift Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Duties include

• Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure
• Assisting with basic woodworking and general labour tasks
• Assembling products using diagrams and instructions
• Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch
• Packing equipment and occasionally travelling to site to assist with installations or on‑site work
• Supporting general workshop duties as required
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working both independently and as part of a team

• A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Willingness to learn and develop woodworking and assembly skills
• Good attention to detail
• A good level of numeracy and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and diagrams accurately
• A strong awareness of health and safety
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous
