Welder
Our client is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. They create critical, rotating closed‑die forgings for aerospace, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation and space applications. They are looking to recruit a welder and support ongoing training and personal development as they expand and develop their operations.
The Roles
This role requires a welder to assist the production and maintenance teams in repairing and maintaining production equipment, forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, and dies. The welder will work with materials such as titanium, stainless, mild steel, Inconel, and high‑carbon steels and fabricate components as required.
- Proven track record of fabricating work to a high standard.
- Must complete a weld test during the interview process.
The Applicants
Suitable applicants should demonstrate strong experience in the above role, include time served, and be apprenticeship qualified. An HNC qualification is desirable but not essential. Applicants must provide copies of trade papers and any other relevant certifications.
Applicants must be legally allowed to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. The role operates over three shifts (early, back, and night) in rotation with a 37‑hour working week.
Remuneration and Benefits
Basic salary £40,000 (including shift allowance) plus overtime and full company benefits.
