Job Title: SlingerLocation: Barrow-in-Furness (Full-time, site-based)

Requirements

• Blue CPCS card
• NPORS certification
• OPITO certification (desirable)
• Full SC clearance is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide both specialist and general support to production operations
• Maintain all site areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
• Work safely within confined spaces
• Install and maintain temporary protection systems
• Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
• Interpret technical information to confirm work requirements
• Identify, report, and document safety concerns, hazards, and damages

Skills and Experience

• Good understanding of safety regulations and assessments, including SHE and COSHH
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in industrial cleaning or fast-paced operational environments

Additional Information

• The role will initially follow a shift pattern
• If transitioning to night shifts, you will complete one week of day shifts beforehand for training and risk assessment purposes
• Full SC clearance is required prior to starting (estimated processing time: 6–8 weeks)
