About the Role
As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery within the print department, ensuring high-quality output and meeting daily production targets. This position would also suit someone who has worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative looking to develop their skills within a reputable print company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery in a print production environment
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with other Machine Operatives and production staff
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Machine Operative, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Print Machine Operative
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in a print company or printing environment (desirable but not essential)
- Familiarity with print production machinery or experience as a Print Production Assistant
