What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of rental hoist systems, including vertical and inclined models
  • Working predominantly along the M62 corridor, with wider coverage across the North West and Yorkshire
  • Taking on occasional nationwide assignments, including some overnight travel when required
  • Representing the company as a key technical contact, delivering excellent service on every site
  • Using digital tablet systems to complete job sheets, compliance notes and site documentation
  • Reporting to the Irlam depot each morning before heading out to customer locations

  • Strong mechanical and electrical awareness
  • Confidence working at height and in physically demanding settings
  • A proactive, customer‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving ability
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
  • Full UK driving licence (Trailer licence an advantage but not essential)
  • CSCS card or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Installations desirable but not required

You’ll fit in if you’re

  • Practical, safety‑minded and solutions‑oriented
  • Comfortable working both solo and within a small team
  • Reliable, hands‑on, and motivated by delivering high‑quality engineering work
