Inspection & Testing Electrician

Overview

Bridges is looking to expand our Inspection and Testing team to work across Water and Wastewater sites in the south‑east of England. The role involves being part of a fixed electrical testing team, ensuring electrical compliance on customer sites, predominantly within the water industry, with daily mobile visits to sites around the east and south of the M25 and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Work fixed hours of 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday, on site.
• Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Produce detailed reports and identify any rectification work required.
• Manage travel and workload on a door‑to‑door basis, with overtime and travel payments.

Requirements

Required

• ECS Gold Card (essential)
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation (essential)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)

Desirable

• PASMA / IPAF
• EUSR Water Hygiene
• Thames Water Passport
