Structural Welder Fabricator – 2-Month Contract

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator for a 2-month, workshop-based contract in Grays, Essex. The role involves welding and fabricating structural steel components within a busy fabrication environment.

Start Date: ImmediateRate: £22.00 per hourHours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (9.5 hours paid per day)Contract: 2 Months

Responsibilities:

• Welding and fabricating structural steel members in a workshop environment.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings to do accurate assemblies.
• Utilizing standard workshop equipment and fabrication hand tools safely.
• Ensuring all structural welds meet quality, safety, and project standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation.

Requirements:

• Proven workshop experience as a Welder Fabricator working with structural steel.
• Must have own standard welding tools, welding PPE, and a welding mask.
• Reliable, hard-working, and comfortable with a 6:00 AM start.
• Available to start immediately and commit to the full 2-month contract duration.
• No specific site tickets are required for this workshop position.
• Parking: Free onsite parking is available at the facility (Star Industrial Estate).
