Role Description
This is a full‑time role based in Greater Nottingham for a Sign Fitter Mate. The Sign Fitter Mate will assist in the installation of various types of signage, ensuring proper placement and secure fittings. Daily tasks include assisting in preparing signage for installation, maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines. This role requires manual work, including lifting and climbing, while maintaining a high standard of work.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of sign fitting and installation processes, or willingness to learn on the job
- General practical and manual skills, including handling tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and work efficiently as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
- Positive, hardworking attitude and a willingness to develop new skills
- Previous experience in construction, assembly, or similar industries considered a plus
- Full, valid UK driver’s license would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Growth plan to aim towards running your own crew
