Location: Takeley

Salary: £28k-£30k

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm (Plus Overtime)

Company Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large format printing company with a strong reputation for quality and service. The role involves a variety of tasks within a busy, long‑established printing environment, working closely with the Head of Digital. You will ensure all jobs are dispatched on time and meet SLAs while maintaining 100% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order.
• Stitch and finish silicone edge graphics on a day‑shift basis.
• Report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunctions, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or duty manager.
• Understand and follow all objectives, standards, policies and procedures outlined by your manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a seamstress or sewing machine operator.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced atelier department with a calm, positive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials, including delicate and high‑end textiles.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Safety and legal compliance are a must; a good safety record is welcomed.
