We’re looking for an experienced RRV Plant Fitter to take ownership of On-Track Plant (OTP), ensuring equipment is maintained, operated safely, and performing at its best.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate, maintain, and service On-Track Plant (OTP) in line with machine schedules
  • Carry out fault finding and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Ensure OTP and trackside plant under your responsibility are safe and fully operational
  • Follow all legislation, Railway Group Standards, Network Rail Standards, and M&EE Codes of Practice
  • Work in compliance with company policies on Health & Safety, Quality, and Environment
  • Understand and follow standards and instructions set by your line manager (Plant Manager)

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Experience maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment, including OTP/RRV
  • Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic fault finding and repair
  • Strong safety awareness with a proactive, safety-first approach
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of plant performance

Desirable

  • Rail industry experience or relevant certifications
