Job Overview

Our client, based in the Oldham area, is looking for a MIG & TIG Welder. This permanent position pays £15.50 per hour PAYE, equivalent to £31,434 per annum. Working hours are 7:45 am–4:45 pm Monday–Thursday, with a finish at 12:45 pm on Friday. Applicants must be available to work in the Oldham area.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG weld frames and carry out TIG welding with stainless steel in the manufacturing of new, custom‑built equipment.

Requirements

• City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent.
• Proficient in MIG welding 3–5 mm mild steel and stainless steel; TIG welding.
• Experience with thin‑gauge stainless steel welding to a good finish.
