MIG Welder

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, organised and supportive production environment, working on light-duty fabrication within a dedicated machine department.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding on light gauge materials
• Work from technical drawings and specifications
• Perform basic fabrication and assembly tasks
• Operate machinery within the production department
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

Requirements

• Previous experience in MIG welding (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with light-duty materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
