Experienced Site Fabricator / MIG Welder

We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Fabricator / MIG Welder for a permanent position installing steelwork on secure government sites, including prisons. This is a stable, full-time role offering regular overtime, a company vehicle you can take home, and long-term career security.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld structural steelwork including security doors, gates, grilles, handrails and staircases
- Work accurately from technical engineering drawings
- Assist with on-site installation across secure sites
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a fabricator / welder
- MIG welding experience essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check (essential due to secure sites)
Hours & Benefits
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Regular overtime available
- Company vehicle provided (take-home)
