Our client has been in the Low Voltage Electrical Control Panel Industry for over 50 years and has gained a high reputation for its quality and customer service.
All projects are bespoke, one‑off schemes that provide a variety of different types of wiring challenges for the successful candidate. This role is currently a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
The company values its employees and has a large proportion of staff who have worked with them for over 20 years. They are looking to support this by adding new members to their team in Grantham to accommodate a projected increase in turnover. Applications are welcome from experienced candidates as well as those who have recently obtained an Electrical Qualification from college.
Responsibilities
- Work from schematics and layout drawings.
- Drill/tap and perform basic mechanical work.
- Insert components – breakers, drives, inverters, etc.
- Wire the panels according to schematics.
Qualifications
- Experience in panel building (other forms of electrical wiring experience will also be considered).
- Ability to read and work from schematics and general arrangement drawings.
- Have an electrical qualification.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to high consistent standards.
- Good time‑keeping.
